INCI Name: Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol

Behentrimonium Methosulfate: An exceptionally mild conditioner that is vegetable derived from the Colza plant. Colza comes from the cabbage family and is closely related to Rapeseed (also known as Canola). This ingredient is suitable for vegans, mild enough for baby products and is not tested on animals making it the ideal ingredient for naturally derived, cruelty free formulations.

Cetearyl Alcohol: A non-drying, non-irritant fatty alcohol not related to alcohols such as ethyl (grain) or rubbing alcohol. It is a wax emulsifier with emollient characteristics offering moisturizing, soothing and softening effects to the skin. Can be made synthetically or derived naturally from coconut fatty alcohols.
